After many years of having this in my collection ive decided to pass it on to another collector. This is super rare. out of all the years ive been collecting casio watches, this is the only CMD-40 that i have seen in this packaging, especially with its card, and the CMD-40 label on the box. also the correct description on the stand.
This watch brand new, and was only ever removed by me to change the battery, and i was the only one to have ever changed the battery as it had its original Japan battery in.
the screen protector has never been removed, the watch has never been worn.
When the CMD-40 was first released in 1993 they started producing them in these casio boxes, then quickly switched to the long boxes you see them all in. these boxes where produced in tiny tiny numbers which is why you hardly see them.
its also a 1175 module.
this particular piece is for the collector, and if you keep it like it is, unworn in the box... then it will make a great investment as well as a unique piece.
The price is high, and i know that. but it should be high. The longer it stays in my collection the more it will be worth. Today is 11th Oct 2025 this is when ive listed it for sale
